Strepsils – Star Moment
Strepsils were sponsoring the X-Factor and came to TMW to ‘do something digital’ to support the TV bumper commercials. I lead the team to create a second-screen mobile game that used footage from the xfactor performances to give people the chance of winning tickets to the final. The game was simple, players needed to try and find the ‘star moment’ in an X-Factor performance – the moment they felt that the contestant’s voice was at its very best.
The game was open every week in the run up to The X Factor Live Final with additional support from Social and banners on Heat magazine and ITV.com. We made sure the game was developed as a web page not a app-download so as to increase interactions. We ensured it was optimised fully for Android, WP8 and iOS.
